ANNA NICOLE SMITH
As controversial in death as she was in life, Anna Nicole Smith is bound to go into the annals of how she and even her son came by their demise.
Born Vicky Lynn Hogan in Texas on the 28th of November 1967 she came to prominence as Playmate of the Year in 1993 under the name Vickie Smith. At 26-years old she married her second husband, oil tycoon and billionaire Howard Marshall which led to a lawsuit on his death with claims that she married her husband, 67 years her senior, in the genre of gold digger.
When news was announced of Anna’s pregnancy she caused more controversy in her claim for permanent resident status in the Bahamas, and in receiving this it cost Immigration Minister Shane Gibson his post when he was forced to resign. It was claimed the move to the Bahamas was to evade U.S paternity rights as many men claimed they could be the father on Anna’s death.
On the 6th of September 2006, Anna gave birth to a daughter she named Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern, claiming that her personal attorney and long-time friend was the father. The birth was followed by tragedy, four days later her son Daniel from her first marriage, was found dead where he sat while visiting Anna and his half-sister.
With Anna’s world crushed after the death of her son, she was staying in room 607 on the 6th floor of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino when on the 8th of February 2007, she was found in an unconscious state and given CPR.
In an attempt to stop the macabre booking the suite where Anna Nicole Smith passed away in September 2006, major renovations took place and the rooms renumbered. She may still haunt the suite on the 6th floor of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel but her spirit has also been seen in the lobby.
