This is reputed to be the haunt of three female spirits. One is Elizabeth Maronne who, with her brother John, was badly treated by her father. There is a plaque in the local church which says he believed his children died because of his sins.

The most prominant spirit here is the son of a former owner, Robert Banks Jenkinson, sometimes seen sporting a tall hat. Others here are thought to be Robert's mother, a gentleman has been spotted in the Art Deco Room and a child seen sitting on the stairs. Apart from these sitings there have been reports of poltergeist type activity, strange smells and sounds with no apparent cause.
