Built in the early 19th century, there have been many strange reports from a man seen sitting in the dining room to paranormal activity in the cellar.

One of the out-buildings was at one time a mortuary. It is believed to be haunted as the condemned were brought here for their last meal before meeting the hangman's noose. The bodies were then brought back to the mortuary. There is an article at Ghosts UK on a night's vigil.
