The inn acquired its name from a landlord drawing water from the well as he usually did, but this one time he pulled up a bucket of blood. However, it was nothing paranormal as it was found the well contained a mutilated body. It is a place with a history of smugglers and murder so it is not surprising that there are several ghosts to be found here.
